The ZKR Comfort series provides a structure for voice communication platforms within the ZKR product family. The system is designed to ensure a high level of communication between patients and nurses.

It also allows integration of various room controls such as lighting, TV, window blinds, and temperature management directly from the handset. Voice communication through Comfort series products can occur between patient and nurse or even external phone calls.

Voice recordings of conversations between patients and staff, or among staff, may be stored for review by the hospital to improve quality of service. Additionally, external phone calls can be tracked and billed to patients.
